Vitamin B3 (niacinamide) 5% stimulates the production of collagen, ceramides and free fatty acids, firming the skin and reducing moisture loss. This makes the skin more resistant to external influences. Ideal for sensitive skin. In addition, it has an anti-inflammatory effect and is therefore useful for acne, rosacea or red spots. Niacinamide also inhibits the production of sebum and other substances that cause an anti-inflammatory reaction (itching, redness, swelling). It has been scientifically proven that niacinamide has a calming effect, which is why some dermatologists use it to calm certain skin conditions. It also protects against sun damage. At doses of 5% or more, it also reduces superficial pigmentation. This is the maximum percentage that can be sold 'over-the-counter' in Belgium. 

Vitamin B5 (panthenol) 1% penetrates deep into the skin and is converted there into panthotenoic acid, which promotes cell division. It thus contributes to skin rejuvenation and wound healing. It also contains hydrophilic (water attracting) properties, which improves hydration and helps fight rough, flaky skin. It also has a calming effect on inflammation, itching, contact allergy, irritation and sunburn and improves elasticity. 

Ferulic acid is one of nature's most potent antioxidants. It protects skin cells against UV damage and therefore premature ageing. In addition, it helps tackle hyperpigmentation and uneven skin tone.

Copper peptides boost collagen, elastin and hyaluronic acid production. Copper inhibits the growth of skin bacteria, neutralises free radicals (which helps prevent wrinkle formation and other damage to the skin cells) and gives the complexion an enormous freshener. 

How to use

Apply 3 to 4 drops to clean skin and leave on for 1 minute (touch-dry). Then apply a moisturiser for optimal effect. The serum is suitable for use in the morning and evening.
